HOW TO SMOKE A CIGAR AND LIPSTICK-STAINED STOGIES

September 16, 2007

Learning how to smoke a cigar is critically important to maximizing your overall "pleasure" (see cigars & women, below). Cigar smoking has long been a symbol of power, prestige and privilege. Shortly after joining a law firm in the Third Ward District of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I was introduced to the pleasures of smoking really fine cigars. My boss is quite the cigar aficionado.

I soon learned the tips and tricks of how to smoke a cigar. A totally unexpected result, however, was the attention I received from women. Right around the corner from the law office is an exclusive piano bar, Cinntani’s. We often stopped by to unwind from a long day, sip twenty-five year-old McCallum and enjoy a great cigar. Cinntani’s is frequented by both men and women professionals. Very nice and very chique.

One evening at Cinntani’s I was deeply engrossed in a conversation with two associates on the pros and cons of challenging handwriting exemplars on Fifth Amendment grounds. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find a beautiful woman, not much older than the scotch I was drinking, wanting to talk to me about cigars. Talk about hitting the jackpot without even trying! I don’t know how many times you’ve been approached by a good looking woman, but over the course of time I was approached by four more, all because of the cigar I was smoking.

So, part of your education on how to smoke a cigar is to learn about women cigar smokers. There are 1,260 web sites on the Internet on Google under the search term “woman cigar smokers.” Cigarwoman.com is just one of them. What one learns from visiting these sites, as proven by my experience at Cinntani’s, is a lot of women are curious about smoking cigars, and are looking for you to help them out.

Your knowledge and willingness to help will be greatly appreciated by the women who approach you. You can start off by telling them the characteristics of the fine cigar you are smoking. You are smoking fine cigars, aren’t you? You can offer suggestions as to cigars they might enjoy depending on their cigar smoking experience, and tell them where they can be purchased. Knowledge of cigar restaurants and cigar clubs in your area is a great lead-in to asking for a date.

When increasing your knowledge on how to smoke a cigar, don’t forget to learn what women want to know about them. Women cigar smokers are free and independent thinkers with moxy. My favorite type.
